I know I’ve joked at various points throughout the season that a particular Astros lineup resembled the Sugar Land Space Cowboys more so than the actual parent club. But today, well, this is almost literally a lineup you would see in Sugar Land, except for Yordan Alvarez and Christian Walker. Rampant injuries will do that.
Let’s hope Peter Lambert continues his trajectory, because I don’t hold out much hope for this lineup against Nathan Eovaldi. That said, if this team drops like ten runs, please remind me that I don’t know what I’m talking about. A sweep, though, would be a nice way to salvage what could’ve been a disastrous homestand. I know it is only a difference of one game, but 4-3 is much more palatable than 3-4.
