Kurtz ties Bonds for 20th straight game with a walk. He surpasses Ted Williams who was 2d on this consecutive game record.
The walk rate will go a long way for Kurtz, because even when he goes through hitting slumps the walks still provide value to the A’s. Nice accomplishment for a 2d year player.
