WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF TOMORROW!!

(Why do you always have to say it that way?)
Haven’t you ever heard of a little thing called “showmanship”? COME, YOUR DESTINY AWAITS!
Today is the third year of MLB Spring Breakout, with games featuring the prospects of every team. There will be no beaten down, past the warranty expiration date, “it’s 30 minutes until the park closes, so we have time to do the roller coaster one more time” veterans in these games. Just young players in the Astros organization, who you hope will become those beaten down veterans 10 to 15 years from now.

The Astros prospects will face the Marlins prospect in West Palm Beach, FL at 11:05a CT. You can watch on astros.com at this link, or on TV with MLBtv or on SCHN. It will also be on 790 AM KBME radio.
Here is the roster for the Astros Breakout Game:

13 of the Astros’ Top 30 Prospects (mlb.com) will be featured in this game:
- Kevin Alvarez, OF (#1)
- Xavier Neyens, SS (#2)
- Walker Janek, C (#5)
- Lucas Spence, OF (#12)
- Joseph Sullivan, OF (#14)
- James Hicks, RHP (#15)
- Alimber Santa, RHP (#18)
- Anthony Huezo, OF (#19)
- Will Bush, C/1B (#20)
- Cole Hertzler, RHP (#23)
- Hudson Leach, RHP (#26)
- Caden Powell, SS/3B (#27)
- Ramsey David, RHP (#28)
We have seen a number of these prospects already in spring games. Janek and Santa have impressed in particular, and Yordan Alvarez had great things to say about #1 prospect Kevin Alvarez (no relation).
The Spring Breakout Game isn’t the only Astros game today. Later this evening, at 5:05p CT, the Astros of the aforementioned beaten-down veteran variety will be taking on the Mets, also at CACTI Park of the Palm Beaches. This does not appear to have a television broadcast from either the Astros’ or Mets’ side, but as it is in the Park of the Palm Beaches, there should be a link for the webcam video feed accompanied by the radio broadcast available at https://www.mlb.com/astros/video when the game starts.
Peter Lambert (of San Dimas High School in San Dimas, CA. Yes, the San Dimas High School that Bill and Ted of Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure attended.) takes the mound for the Astros in the evening game, and faces off against Kodai Senga of the Mets.
